Ormeggio at The Spit
 Overview
We like to do functions in a contemporary Italian style bringing the
Italian feast feeling to the tables for our guests within a stylish and
beautiful setting. We match the spectacular view with our unique and
delicious food and create a truly special day, whether it be for a
corporate function, birthday or a wedding.
We offer build your own packages, ranging from canapés to degustation
menus and welcome the opportunity to discuss your individual needs. We
also have the option to offer a unique experience with historic Rosman
Ferries for transfers to Ormeggio, and/or cruising on Middle Harbour for
canapés.
Ormeggio at The Spit offers waterfront balcony space, perfect for
canapes and pre dinner drinks, and can cater for up to 100 guests for a
sit down function, or up to 150 standing guests.

- Crudo of king salmon, salmon caviar, squid ink mayonnaise,
crispy mandarin, dried sea lettuce
- Veal tonnato, tuna spuma, fried capers
- Risotto, crab meat, red capsicum, lemon mascarpone
- MAIN
- Oil poached blue eye cod, tomato consommé, pappa al pomodoro,
powders of: capers, onions, olives, garlic
- Pan fried flounder fillets, asparagus, smoked tuna and squid ink
sauce, almonds
- Burrawong chicken leg and breast, baby root vegetables
- DESSERT
- Amedei chocolate & coffee ‘barbajada’ caramel gelato, almond and
mint crumble, tokay reduction
- Ormeggio open tiramisu; mascarpone spuma, coffee sponge, coffee
granita, dark chocolate sauce house made black forest cake, milk
gelato.
